Preston joined Independence in 2018 and celebrated 10 years in Commercial Real Estate in 2023. A graduate of the University of Georgia Real Estate program, Preston immediately started brokering retail real estate in 2013.

After just two years in the business, Preston earned his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 2015. In 2023, he served as President of the CCIM Central Texas Chapter. In 2025, Preston completed his 100th O’Reilly Auto Parts transaction and is consistently a top producer at Independence, representing a variety of retailers, landlords, investors, and developers. He is a licensed real estate broker in Texas and maintains agent status in Louisiana and Florida.

Preston and his family live in South Austin.
